September 1804 in Ludwigsburg, Kurf\u00fcrstentum W\u00fcrttemberg; gestorben am 4. Juni 1875 in Stuttgart, K\u00f6nigreich W\u00fcrttemberg) war ein deutscher Lyriker der Schw\u00e4bischen Dichterschule, Erz\u00e4hler und \u00dcbersetzer. Er war als evangelischer Pfarrer t\u00e4tig, tat sich jedoch mit diesem Beruf schwer, bis er vorzeitig in den Ruhestand trat.
